Not only music is in the veins of the X2 duo. In two months’ time, the group will launch its inaugural clothing line “592”, which has been in the making for a while. “592” is the country code of Guyana, so it is inherently Guyanese.
Adrian Dutchin and Jumo Primo are excited about the new initiative and believe that it will be embraced by the Guyanese populace.
Dutchin and Primo explained that they got the idea from a concept party that they had gone to in the United States and thought that they can capitalise on it. They have already started to make arrangements for the production of the clothing line that will cater for children and adults.
“592” will be launched in November with a series of self-titled parties, which will definitely blow the Guyanese public away.
The new brand of clothing will be available in all leading stories countrywide, and will be very affordable. Persons who want large quantities of the line can make contact with X2.
Meanwhile, Jumo launched his new video “Bad Mind” on Wednesday in Linden and on Thursday in Berbice, and all is in order for the launch in Georgetown on Saturday on all the major television stations in Guyana and on the Internet.
The reigning Carib Soca Monarch has shifted gears, veering into the realm of dancehall music, a change from his usual soca and reggae spiced with a few R&B vibes. The new video is about someone who is envious (bad mind) of other persons. Currently, the video is not for sale, but it can be downloaded from YouTube, Facebook and Twitter.
