Come December 26, the National Stadium will come alive as Chris Brown, one R&B’s best artistes reportedly plans to dish out two hours of nonstop hits. Joining the artiste on the night of the event will be Guyana’s own Tamika Marshall and Don Gialiani.
The ‘Unforgettable 2’ concert will be officially launched at the BLACK Imax concept party on Friday October 26 at the Everest Cricket Club Ground.
Acting Tourism Minister Irfaan Ali on Thursday expressed his excitement about the collaboration and thinks that the concert will boost the country’s tourism; promoting Guyana as a tourist attraction during the Christmas season. On that note, he explained that this year, the Main Big Lime will be transformed into a three-night affair “Christmas Village” that will cater for people from all walks of life.
The ministry he noted is already in talks with the airlines to facilitate low cost flights to Guyana during the festive season and more so for those who will be primarily visiting to be a part of the mega concert.
Hits and Jams Entertainment Company has been in existence for the past 13 years and is known for promoting the best shows that cater to all Guyanese. They are maintaining that title and have promised patrons that the ‘Unforgettable 2’ concert will be massive.
Tickets can be purchased for about US$25 (G$5000) but those who want to be closer to the superstars will pay about US$150 (G$30,000). Tickets are expected to be out sometime in November.
