All local pageant winners from 2011 and 2012 will compete against each other $1,000,000.
On January 5, 2013, Classique Productions and Hits and Jams Entertainment will stage a pageant that will be unlike anything ever held in Guyana. A bevy of stunning Guyanese queens will engage in the ultimate battle of intelligence, beauty and skill for a cash prize of one million dollars and the title, ‘Guyana Queen of Queens’.
The event is expected to see participation from all young women who have won national pageant titles from 2011 and 2012. Miss Guyana Universe, Miss Guyana World, Miss Guyana Earth, Miss India Worldwide, Miss Guyana African Queen and Miss Guyana Jamzone are just a few of the titles that are expected to be represented at the inaugural Guyana Queen of Queens.
In a brief statement, manager of Classique Productions, Clive Prowell said that he anticipates an ‘epic’ showdown. Prowell emphasized that this will be the first pageant of its kind ever held in Guyana and he is confident it will be accepted by the public with open arms. “It will certainly be a breath of fresh air”, he added.
Since the initial stages of every pageant, we can easily identify one young woman as the most competent of the lot. Now, imagine how difficult it would be to choose the winner of a pageant that consists solely of title holders and each contestant is as competent and beautiful as the next.
