Miss Guyana Renaissance pageant Tomorrow

Eleven professional ladies will vie for the coveted title of Miss Guyana Renaissance 2012 at the National Cultural Centre.

Diana Swan-Lawrence, Vivienne Mitchell Amata, Monica Thomas, Anita Wright Ross, Desiree Alleyne, Cheryl Hopkinson, Gillian Prim, Atala Sampson-Clay; Michelle Alphanso, Marisha Bowen, Christine Atherly and Linda Clarke are all ready and hyped to take the stage.

The mature women will compete in a number of segments including the introduction; cultural presentation; business wear; evening gown and the intelligence segment. To add some flavour to the night’s event, there will be a saucy talent segment.

The pageant serves as a catalyst to reeducate the public about the creativity, cultural awareness, inner beauty and accomplishments of women. It is the 28th edition of the pageant.

Tickets for the event cost $2000 and $1500 and are available at the National Cultural Centre.
