Under the theme ‘New Frontiers’, Banks DIH Ltd on Saturday last launched its costume band for Mashramani 2013, which it said would be 300 strong and costumes would be provided free to the public from as early as January.
Banks DIH executive Cartlon Joao revealed that the company will portray Guyana’s Mashramani heritage to the thousands of Guyanese who are expected to return home for the celebrations. He also noted the theme for the band is the “New Frontier”, which tells the story of new and great undiscovered things, and more importantly, since the company is growing rapidly, he wants all Guyanese to be part and parcel of its success.
Costumes have been designed by Olympia Small Sonaram.
