Tommy Lee booed

Tommy Lee Sparta was booed at two events on Sunday after making attempts to dis Bounty Killer. Tommy Lee was in the middle of his high-energy performance at Chug It in Portmore, when he decided to remix his single Mechanic as a homosexual dis aimed at Bounty Killer. However, the audience did not appreciate the gesture and they rewarded the artiste with a sea of boos.

Following the boos at Chug It, Tommy Lee went to the Liguanea Club in New Kingston where he made a guest appearance at the annual Calico Jack Rum Punch party. The artiste again performed a decent set, but in similar fashion to his experience at Portmore, he was again booed when he attempted to dis Bounty Killer.

According to Tommy Lee’s publicist, Keona Williams, she believes there was a plot by the Alliance to undermine the performance of Tommy Lee Sparta.

“I think it was an orchestrated thing because only some sections of the crowd were booing,” Williams said.

Tommy Lee Sparta also shared a similar view.

“Yu si di people dem wey dem send inna di crowd, dem fi stop mek people boost dem fi mash up people career, because a just waste dem a waste dem time. A di end of the day a di future wi a deal wid, a set dem set up people fi boo mi,”,Tommy Lee Sparta said.

Alliance Next Generation manager Cross Cris denies knowledge of a plot to boo Tommy Lee Sparta. He believes the fans are just tired of hearing the young deejay disrespect Bounty Killer.

“We think this is the beginning of the ending of Tommy Lee’s 15 minutes of fame. Bounty Killer has stopped calling his name or paying attention to him and we think Tommy Lee has only survived this long because Bounty Killer had called his name previously which led to the controversy. Right now Tommy Lee is just calling Bounty’s name to get hype for Sting and the people have had enough, and I suspect that he is going to get more boos,” Cross Cris continued.

“Since Tommy Lee has knowledge about who has been paid to boo him, he should have informed the patrons before performing, because looking at the video it is clear that he got booed by the entire venue. They just weren’t entertaining any disrespect towards Bounty Killer,” Cross Cris said.

The manager also described Tommy Lee’s allegations as being stupid.

“So we paid all those people at Chug It and we paid all those people at Rum Punch? That is just baseless and stupid. Alliance wasn’t even at Chug It. The intention of Alliance is not to see the end of no artiste career. We just want to uphold the morals of dancehall. Bounty Killer is not against Tommy Lee personally, he also spoke out against Vybz Kartel when he made reference to the devil and with the bleaching, so we were just straightening him out. We don’t wish for no artiste demise or to stop their income because everybody has a family. We just want him to be positive and stop talk bout demons and call up Killa name,” Cross Cris said.
