22 competitors will vie for the coveted prize of being crowned Guyana’s next Carib Soca Monarch. 22 competitors were picked by the Ansa McAl company to compete against reigning Soca King Jomo Primo for the 2013 Carib Soca Monarch Crown.
This is the largest number of competitors to be chosen for the semi finals which will take place in Linden on February 2.
Among those who have made the cut are 3 time Soca Monarch Adrian Dutchin, Former Junior Calypso Monarch Ernesta Nelson, Linden heartthrob George “Chiney” Anthony and Model Search Winner Yolanda Kerr.
