Guyana get ready! GT&T is gearing up for the biggest jingle and song competition thus far with bigger lights, props and venues.
With some of the biggest names in local production, such as Hits and Jams Entertainment, Video Mega, Spotlight Production, Artistic Production and Dtshaka Production, an unforgettable experience has been planned for both the participants and the viewers who will be taken along for the entire ride.
Venues across Guyana have been booked for initial auditions and also for the beginning categories of the competition and of course, HJ cameras will offer you the opportunity to explore Guyana with us! GT&T is aiming to highlight some of the country’s most beautiful hideaways and at the same time discover fresh, raw talent.
Throughout this fantastic journey, immense anticipation will be built especially on the evening it all comes down to, the grand finale on May 11 at the National Cultural Centre.
Fans and supporters can look forward to a grand event with a blue carpet arrival and a pre-show at the entrance. There, patrons can look out for the cameras and even share their expectations for the night while being judged on their overall appearance. So gents and gals, be sure to come decked out in your finest for the full grammy-like event experience and take home a special prize if chosen as the best dressed.
Also, with the return of judges Gordon Moseley, Charmain Blackman, Sean Bhola and Joel Ghansham fans are guaranteed a fun-packed show. However, these guys are not afraid to get down and nasty with the ugly truth of their findings but who better to plaster these bruises than the delightful Nuriyyih Gerrad who will serve as the host of the event.
The Guyana Telephone and Telegraph Company is committed to exploring and developing talent through this competition which has evolved since its launch in 2006.
