Reigning Carib Soca Monarch Jumo “Rubber Waist” Primo will commence his campaign today for this year’s competition with the release of his new album “Wow Factor”.
The CD comprises of 17 of the soca sensation’s hits and including “Nosey People”, “Fire Works”, “Push Dat Bumper”, “Chipping”, “Push It Back on Meh”, “Tick Tack” and others.
Primo intends to wow his fans with the release, since some of the songs on the disc are new and saucy. He will be distributing free CD on various minibus parks, record bars and he even plans to walk the streets and indulge in some distribution.
However, as the days draw near for him to defend his title at the Carib Soca Monarch 2013, Primo is happy with the reviews that his entry has been receiving both locally and regionally.
Meanwhile, Primo added that the shooting of the “Fireworks” video is underway and the final product should also be out by Monday. The song, he added, was recorded in the Kross Kolor Studios. Persons who wish to get copies of the video can contact Jumo on 628-6324.
