Lindeners are getting ready to bring it on as the GT&T Jingle & Song auditions kick off in the mining town on Saturday, February 2. Auditions are set to begin at 09:00hrs at the Egbert Benjamin Centre.
The response has been overwhelming and GT&T and the production team are anticipating an exciting start to the competition.
On February 9, the team moves to Berbice for auditions at the Little Rock Suites and on
February 14, to the Anna Regina Town Hall in Essequibo.
The final leg of auditions will be held in Georgetown from February 19-22.
Contestants who impress the judges at the auditions will be placed into groups for the next
round of competition slated for early March.
As the show intensifies, contestants will compete on an individual basis as the search continues for this year’s Guyana Star.
The competition this year is opened to Guyanese 16 years and older who believe they possess a talent in singing and have the potential to become the star in GT&T’s Jingle and Song Competition 2013.
Interested persons are required to register via SMS using their GT&T mobile number. Simply send a SMS: “REGB” if you are auditioning in Berbice”; “REGE” for Essequibo”; “REGL” for Linden and “REGG” for Georgetown to 620 – 7827.
