Six years ago, it was called “Academic Freedom”; now it is called UG’s “Campus Fete” and is expected to be sizzling hot with some of the best soca and chutney artistes in the business.
Campus Fete is slated for the University of Guyana Campus on February 16 commencing at 15:00h.
The action starts with games and a number of fun activities to fascinate the patrons but as it gets dark, Nesha B, Ravi B and Gregory out of Karma Band will be steaming things up with their chutney/soca vibes.
The event will also feature soca sensation, Shal Marshall and Guyana’s Shakti Stings.
Music will be provided by Travellers Sound System with some of the most versatile deejays passing through including DJ Goldstone; DJ Rani; Deejays from the Evolution Sound System and Deejay Green Dungs. Tickets for the event cost $1500 in advance but $2500 at the gate.
