GT&T wishes to inform its customers and the general public that steps are being taken to reduce the impact of the announced migration to its new integrated Billing and Customer Management System. We understand the inconvenience the current issues have caused and wish to assure our subscribers that we are working continuously to resolve these.
Mobile WAP/APN, BlackBerry and GTTi services have been stabilized and we are working to ensure that the international SMS services are restored to normalcy. We have temporarily disabled international SMS (while we test with the overseas networks) due to the ongoing issues as related by our customers of multiple SMS.
Dollar Talk for persons qualifying today and onwards has also been resolved. However GT&T is still working to resolve pre-migration dollar talk customers.
Customers are encouraged to use phone cards to recharge and query their account balance using 0808 while we continue to resolve the electronic recharge issue.
