Mackeson is calling on all top DJs to come out and showcase their talent while at the same time getting the opportunity to win $1 million in cash and prizes. Mackeson Real Vybez is the ultimate disc jockey competition which aims to expose fresh, young talent in the entertainment arena.
During a period of three months, viewers will be taken across Guyana to discover new talent and will see the real action with behind the scene footage. With this, viewers will get a glimpse of the lives of the participants.
The competition promises to rock the entertainment industry while supporting the continued development of the relationship between the products, the entertainer and the service and the party experience.
Auditions will be held across Guyana in the major districts – Georgetown, Linden, Berbice, Bartica and Essequibo – where contestants will be required to DJ before a judging panel of renowned veteran DJs and entertainers.
DJs who believe they have what it takes are invited to come and audition throughout April. Those who fail to impress the judges will be sent packing as those who qualify will move on to the preliminary competition which will take place in May.
The quarter finals, semi finals and finals will take part in June while the grand finale will be hosted on July 1 at the National Park.
Eliminations will be decided both by the judges and the voting public who will do so via text messaging. Also, during the final stages of the competition, crowd response will play a great part in identifying who remains and who goes.
