Voicemail set to release new single

Dancehall duo Voicemail (which comprises Craig Jackson and Kevin Blair) known for bringing fun into the dancehall, is set to release the single Party Commander.

This is a preview to the duo’s forthcoming fifth studio album which is due for release next month.

Party Commander was recorded in Brooklyn, New York and features production work by Germany-based producers The Titans and mixed by Gary Noble. It was mastered by Sterling Sound.

According to group member Kevin Blair, “The song is a true representation of Voicemail and the fun we bring throughout our music. It’s fun and adds a new fresh sound. This song is gonna grab you right away. Whether in a good or bad way. It’s gonna leave an impact. It’s new and futuristic. I think most of our fans will like this just for the energy and the lively feeling it brings”.

Blair added: “We’re excited about the reaction that we have been getting from the new single. We tested the waters with it in various settings already and the feedback has been really good”.

According to Jackson, “Party Commander is special to me, because it brings two important aspects of Voicemail’s image together. In Jamaica most people know us from introducing new dance moves into the dancehall. At the same time, we’re making positive, fun-oriented music. We want that music to transport a deeper meaning to the listener and allow people to enjoy the moment”.

Party Commander is the second release of Voicemail’s new album Next Level. The first single I Got Love Popular is already being endorsed by radio jocks including Kurt Riley, DJ Denvo and Collin Hinds to name a few. The track is also in heavy rotation on commercial radio station Big FM in Germany.
