Residents on the East Coast of Demerara are asked to get ready for one of the most hyped parties to be held under the “Carib Beer” brand.
The event is set for May 4 at the Better Hope Community Centre ground and is called “Chutney Mania”.
It will feature some of the best in the chutney industry, both in Guyana and Trinidad and Tobago. Former International Chutney King KI (Kris Persad), who is known for his energetic and saucy performances, and his band JMC 3Veni will be the main act at the event.
The Guyanese line-up will include the “No Curfew” singer Prince JP; Aamir Khan; Bunty Singh; Fiona Singh; and the Shakti Strings Band, comprising Steven Ramphal, Avinash Roopchand and Pooran Seeraj, will also add some excitement to the evening.
Persons who wish to be part of the show can purchase six Carib beers from any leading Carib dealers and get a free ticket.
