Digicel Guyana on Monday announced the launch of the new BlackBerry Z10 smartphone powered by BlackBerry 10.
In a release, the company said the new BlackBerry Z10, which provides an intelligent and intuitive experience that constantly adapts to users’ needs, will be available in Guyana from April 23. On Monday, Digicel presented the company’s first Digicel BlackBerry customer, attorney Stephen Fraser with a new BlackBerryZ10. Fraser, who purchased his first BlackBerry from Digicel in May 2007, said he was elated to be presented with this cutting-edge smartphone.
“This is a wonderful surprise from a company with whom I have had a longstanding relationship. I loved my BlackBerry Torch, but the BlackBerry Z10 is definitely my new favourite. The BlackBerry Remember feature, which allows you to create and organise your interests and projects in a single location will be very useful,” Fraser said.
The BlackBerry Z10 will be available in stores across Guyana on Wednesday and will be sold for $140,000. According to Digicel head of sales and distribution, Nalini Vieira, “Digicel is delighted to introduce the BlackBerry Z10 to Guyana.”
“The BlackBerry Z10 has amazing features, including a new mobile computing paradigm where what matters to customers is always only one swipe away. Digicel was the first to bring BlackBerry service to Guyana and we will continue to ensure customers have access to great technology at affordable prices,” Vieira concluded.
