Peter Cetera, Air Supply for Trinidad

International Concert Events will be presenting three sensational artistes together for The Greatest Night of Romance, featuring world-class Grammy Award winning superstar Peter Cetera together with Air Supply and Patty Smyth with Scandal. This-once-in-a-lifetime event takes place on May 18, at The Centre of Excellence, Macoya, Tunapuna. Trinidad.

PETER CETERA
Grammy Award winning singer/songwriter, Peter Cetera has had two distinct musical careers.

From 1968 to 1986 Cetera was the singer, songwriter, and bass player for the legendary rock group Chicago. In his time with the group, they recorded 18 of the most memorable albums of a generation, including such hits as If You Leave Me Now, Hard to Say I’m Sorry, Baby What a Big Surprise, You’re the Inspiration, Stay the Night, Love Me Tomorrow, Happy Man, Feeling Stronger Every Day and Along Comes a Woman.

A solo artist since 1986, Cetera has recorded 10 time-honoured CDs including his No 1 hits, the Academy Award nominated song The Glory of Love from the hit movie The Karate Kid II, The Next Time I Fall with Amy Grant, Feels Like Heaven with Chaka Kahn, After All with Cher from the motion picture Chances Are, No Explanation from the mega hit film, Pretty Woman and the unforgettable Restless Heart.

Peter Cetera will be touring South America from April 19 to May 18, with 5 shows in Brazil, dates in Paraguay, Argentina and Trinidad. He will be performing with his classic 7-Piece Electric Band, adding another exciting performance format to the music that continues to touch the lives of so many.

AIR SUPPLY
With their heavily orchestrated, sweet ballads, the Australian soft rock group Air Supply became a staple ’80s radio, scoring a string of seven straight top-five singles. Air Supply consists of duo Russell Hitchcock and Graham Russell.

Their first international exposure came in the late ’70s, when Rod Stewart had them as his opening act on a North American tour. Air Supply signed a record contract with Arista in 1980, releasing their first album by the end of the year. Lost in Love, their debut, was a major success in the US, selling over two million copies and spawning the hit singles Lost in Love, All Out of Love, and Every Woman in the World. The following year they released their second album, The One That You Love. The title track reached No 1 and it also featured two other top-ten hits, Here I Am (Just When I Thought I Was Over You) and Sweet Dreams. Their third album, Now and Forever featured the singles, Even the Nights Are Better, and Two Less Lonely People in the World,

PATTY SMYTH AND SCANDAL
Patty Smyth and Scandal burst onto the music scene in 1982 with a No 1 MTV hit The Warrior selling over a million copies in the US and other hits that climbed into the top 20 Billboard charts.
