Beenie Man will do a collaboration with hip hop artiste and actress Karlie Redd who is well known for her role on the VH1 series Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta.
“They are currently in production for season two of the popular ‘Love and Hip Hop Atlanta’ series and Karlie wanted to do a song with Beenie Man called Got The Draws, and this song may make it to the soundtrack of the show,” Rohan ‘Blue’ Smith, Beenie Man’s manager, said.
Karlie Redd is a hip hop artiste, model, dancer, and aspiring actress who was born in New York but grew up in Trinidad, which explains why she is drawn to dancehall. She is now working with the US music industry’s top producers in preparation to release her debut album.
NFGTV Inc, an independent production company based in New York, will be in charge of the song. The composers of Got The Draws are listed as Jenny Nelson, Derrick Kinsey, Karlie Redd, and Moses Davis.
Beenie Man heads to New York for a show on Saturday, after which he will rock the annual Best of the Best concert in Miami.
He currently has two hit songs, Hottest Man Alive, which is at #5 on the FIWI Choice Top Ten charts; and a collaboration with Sean Paul that hit #10 on the ER Dancehall Top 10 charts and is now in the top 20 of the FIWI Choice Top ten charts.
