Burning Flames was made popular after they appeared at the Antiguan Road March carnival in 1985 with their song ‘Stiley Tight’ which was issued as their debut single the following year. The band reached international success in 1989 with ‘Workey Workey’ which was later covered by Byron Lee & the Dragonaires’. They later signed for Mango Records in 1991 and released the album ‘Dig’.
This band is known for hit songs like ‘Raw Sole, ‘Green Bush’ and ‘Papi’.
The Jamzone committee is pleased to welcome Burning Flames to its lineup on this year’s roster.
