Eat your hearts out naysayers! While the national director appointed Miss World Guyana 2013 out of a possible 5.00 score Miss Guyana World Ruqayyah GABRIELLA Boyer has scored an average 3.29 points on the global beauties pageant contestants score board.
What does this mean?
This according to Global beauties.com means that Miss Guyana is ranked among the contestants dubbed as a “Very good candidate with potential to be a finalist or even capture the crown”.
Leading the score board are Spain, Brazil and Philippines.
The 23 year old who stands at a height of 1.75 m-tall lists her pageant experiences as being a participant in the Miss Universe 2012.
Other pageant scores for the Guyanese beauty include Pageantopolis – 2,00, Chilean Charm – 1,51, Beauty School – 3,00, Eye For Beauty – 4,50, Times of Beauty – 5,00, Global Beauties – 4,50 and Indonesian Pgts – 2,53.
In the Last 7 Years none of Guyana’s delegates have enjoyed such a rankling and that lot includes 2006 Dessia Braithwaite, 2007 Candace Charles, 2008 Christa Lasaunta Simmons, 2009 Kalerouann Imarah Shaade Kensha Radix, 2010 Aletha Rose Shepherd and 2012 Arti Angelita Cameron. None of that lot placed.
Guyana’s best placing in the Miss World pageant to date remains Shakira Baksh who placed 3rd in the Miss World 1967 even and that was the kick start of a successful career as an actress. Baksh eventually wedded actor Michael Caine.
