The Voice saved the best for last Monday night, closing the show with Jamaican singer Tessanne Chin.
Chin gave a soulful, tear-jerking version of Jimmy Cliff’s ‘Many Rivers to Cross’ leaving her team’s judge, Adam Levine speechless.
Levine however did manage to commend the singer on a superb performance stating that there was “no better way to do what you just did”.
Chin received a standing ovation from the appreciative Voice audience that left her in tears. “I know what its like to cry tears of joy,” commented judge Christina Aguilera.
Fans are being encouraged to vote for Tessanne by logging on to www.thevoice.com or buying her performances on The Voice on iTunes.
Each song purchased adds five votes to Chin’s tally. In this section of the competition 20 finalists are vying for a spot in the top 12.
