Former beauty queen Carol Ann Lynch has denied killing her husband, Farouk Razack, back in 2007, saying that she loved him dearly. She has vowed to prove her innocence for a second time.
On Tuesday, she turned herself in to police after a wanted bulletin was published for her arrest. Lynch, who recently surfaced after it was discovered that she was working with the Roraima Group of Companies while a wanted bulletin was pending, said she has suffered long enough and the public humiliation has cost her tremendous damage.
“I was charged for the murder of my husband. I had my freedom taken away from me for approximately one year, as I was a remanded prisoner during the conduct of a preliminary inquiry into that charge, which had been instituted against me by the state. At all times, I had publically maintained my innocence,” she said.
