Kes the band to perform at the Carib Soca Monarch Finals

The 10^th edition of the CARIB Soca Monarch competition is here proudly announcing the arrival of MASHRAMANI in Guyana! We are delighted to once again kick off this celebratory period in our country with great talented entertainers who are promising to delight and excite us with their fiery soca music.

We are also delighted that this year we will be sending the reigning Monarch Jomo Primo to participate in the Trinidad & Tobago Soca Monarch competition.

This year we have eliminated the quarter-finals and will be hosting the Semi-finals in Berbice on Saturday February 8^th and the grand Finals on February 15^th, 2014.

The Semi-finals will have 18 fantastic contestants who were short-listed from 32 entries while the reigning monarch Jomo Primo will head straight to the Finals.

This year Carib beer sponsored a second Music Work Shop with a producer from Trinidad & Tobago, First Classe as the facilitator and we are happy to announce that we have seen some grave improvements in the contestants’ music.

The prizes in this year’s competition will be $1.5 Million for the first prize, $500,000 for the second place, $250,000 for the third place, $100,000 for the fourth place and the best new comer will receive $100,000.

This years prizes will include the Digicel’s People’s Choice Award and the winner will receive a handsome monetary prize.

Additionally, to further share the fun-ship of CARIB we have recruited our very own CARIB Brand Ambassador, KES to thrill revelers along-side our local artistes.
