Chronixx goes viral on social media

A photo featuring Chronixx and Jimmy Fallon during his stint on Tuesday’s episode of NBCs ‘Tonight Show’ has gone viral on social media and is drumming up major response regarding the artiste and his contribution to reggae music.

With more than 700 shares and just under 10,000 likes on the Facebook photo, fans have commended Chronixx for his work even comparing the ‘Here Comes Trouble’ artiste to reggae icon Bob Marley.

“Yes I, it took Jamaica almost 4 decades to find someone dear to music like Bob. Do you thing youth do you thing” a fan said.

Another added “Bob again but with a different flow…. gwaan do u thing jah yout a u a open wi (young yout)eyes to d reality a d system… big up Jimmy Fallon he was really funny in taxi.”

“A long time mi waa Jamaica fi claim back real roots reggae. Thank you chronixx, Bob Marley must be smiling,” expressed another.

There were also others who shared their version of how Jimmy Fallon was exposed to the music of the artiste.

“The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon was in Jamaica… and you know he heard your song #herecometrouble and he liked it…. and so you know he booked you on the show… and i also wanna tell the people your making your international debut on international television… congrats…. love that show..man..”

Jamaicans also expressed great pleasure in seeing one of their own on international TV and for many, Fallon’s reaction was greatly appreciated.

“I’ve never seen Jimmy so excited about music” a fan marvelled.

And pleased with how the artiste presented himself a woman shared the photo with the comment, “Chronixx TEAM are very smart. Look how he presented himself in a black suit yet kept his roots, spirits, and humble approach to the stage…”
