Miss Earth Guyana 2014 Stacy Ramcharran is on the 64th edition cover of GEM, a Guyana-based international magazine that focuses on the lifestyle and entertainment habits of Guyanese at home and in the Diaspora every two months.
Ramcharan who was selected by the Miss Earth Guyana franchise Simpli Royal in April is currently preparing to represent the country in November at the 2014 Miss Earth International pageant in Muntinlupa, Philippines.
In this stunning cover photo, the 23-year-old beauty was captured by renowned photographer John Greene in a black creek water soaked bikini and black shirt. Her makeup was done by Tenisha Garnett and hair by Rehanna Hoosein.
According to Ramcharan, being on the cover of GEM is such an honour, since it enables her to gain more fans for the upcoming pageant.
Here’s some of the things the aspiring accountant had to share with the magazine in an exclusive Q&A: Where do you get your self confidence from? Ever since I could remember, I have always had a high self esteem. I have great confidence in my looks and my personality as well. Call me vain, but I love being the belle of the ball, the center of attention and knowing that I always create an impact when I walk in a room definitely helps boost my confidence every single time.
Describe your dream date: This might be very hard to believe, but I have NEVER been on an actual date. Nevertheless, call me old fashioned but something about a candle light dinner on the beach, a walk along the ocean after, then lying down to look at the stars together and engaging in a lovely conversation is a date I would consider to be very romantic and unforgettable.
Enjoying its 10th year of production, GEM continues to ‘Celebrate Guyana’ with its high quality pictures and easy to read format.
