The Mister Guyana international pageant has shifted into another gear with at least one of the contenders pulling out of the competition for reasons unknown. Trevon Fenty no longer has his eyes fixed on the coveted title.
The competition is underway and the remaining 10 delegates participated in a gruelling physical fitness challenge against domestic violence which was held on Sunday last. From sources, it is believed that Kevin Smith might have pipped the others in that aspect.
The competition continues this evening with the swimwear competition and runway challenge titled “I Am A Man” which will be held at the Duke Lodge poolside. Those who would like to be part of the audience to witness nine muscular men parade in swimwear can pick up their tickets at a cost of $2500.
The competition continues on Monday, October 27 with the intelligent segment which will be done behind closed doors at the Pegasus Hotel.
Then on Wednesday, October 29, the delegates will showcase their talents in the form of dance, poetry and possible vocals.
At the penultimate day of the grand coronation, the 10 amazing young men will participate in a promotional motorcade on Saturday, November 1. The contenders will be a part of a walk-a-ton against substance abuse and date rape.
Then there is the grand finale on Sunday, November 2 where the scores from the preliminary competitions will be added to the scores from the night which will be used to crown the inaugural Mr Guyana International. There will also be four other titles to be awarded on the night.
The contenders vying for the title are Alexander Fiedtkou, Stowell Betham, Paul Charles, Kurt Walcott, Kevin Bhagrat, Colwyn Abrams, Christon Pollard, Kevin Smith, Raphael October and Ryan Washington.
