Mystic to perform in New York

Romeo Nermal, popularly known as “Mystic” has been creating some stir with his song “Coolie Bhai” and is presently in the United States and is expected to perform at several shows organised by a US-based Guyanese.

The ‘coolie bhai’ who hails from the Ancient County of Berbice has a packed schedule during his stay in the New York area where thousands of Guyanese reside. The buzz has been creating the right atmosphere for the young Guyanese artistes and he plans to make his stay in the US a memorable one.

He is expected to visit several functions where he will obviously sing his signature tune but one of the bigger concerts is set for January 24 in New York.

He will be the main act for the evening and will share the stage with Guyanese ‘Baboo’ Terry Gajraj who has been anxiously awaiting the arrival of his fellow countryman.

Also slated to perform at the event will be Remmi D, Geeta Bisram, Wataflo and others. There will also be special dance pieces by the Aliana Dancers and adding the vibes to the live performances will be New York’s finest, the Angel’s Caribbean Band.

The event is set for the Harmony Banquet Hall, 1410 State Street, Schenectady, NY.
