Cure tops Billboard Reggae Album chart

THE Cure, Jah Cure’s seventh album, has become the roots singer’s first number one on Billboard’s Reggae Album Chart. The set sold 2,500 copies in its opening week to surge to the top.

Distributed by VP Records, The Cure contains 13 tracks, including a cover of John Legend’s All of Me, Rasta, That Girl, Life We Live, Made In California and I Surrender.

Christopher ‘Sketch’ Carey, Clive Hunt, Llamar ‘Riff Raff’ Brown, Justin ‘Jus Bus’ Nation, and Trevor ‘Baby G’ James produced songs on The Cure.

It is Jah Cure’s fourth entry on Billboard’s reggae table. His previous were 2007’s True Reflections…A New Beginning which peaked at number nine; 2009’s The Universal Cure which reached number two, and 2013’s World Cry which made it to number seven.
