The West Indies cricket stars have arrived for the much anticipated Unity Cricket match at the Guyana National Stadium, Providence, East Bank Demerara, billed for tomorrow.
However, as a norm, there will be a meet and greet event which allows fans of the cricketers to take photos and get autographs.
This time around, the activity will be held at the Gravity Lounge, Camp and Regent Streets, Georgetown, and is called “Friction Friday”. Come mix and mingle with the likes of Chris Gayle, Dwayne Bravo, Dwayne Smith, Darren Sammy, Suileman Benn and Lendl Simmons, among others.
Everyone will be admitted free before 22:00h but $3000 after.
Apart from meeting and greeting the cricketers, there will be Heineken Bucket Specials from 20:00h to 22:00h. Patrons can also purchase one bottle of Eldorado 12-year-old and get another free from 22:00h to midnight.
Patrons can then party the night away to the sounds from the Boom deejays, including Deejay Blaxbee, Gully Ras and Selector Diamond.
