The Women Association for Sustainable Development and the Sonia Noel Foundation for the Creative Arts hosted a number of events including a visit to Berbice prison, Oxygen with Nicole and the Women in Business Expo .

The Woman in Business Expo, at the Pegasus Hotel, was indeed a resounding success. To see the massive turn-out is to recognize the need for niche market activities like this one. The wide range of business enterprises represented attest to not only the determination of women but proclaims the scope and range of women’s entrepreneurial drive. From art and fashion to craft and confectionery, from make-up and hair needs to salon and spa services, from immigration services to janitorial services, from destination marketing tours to business/financial services, from home decor options to culinary packages, the full spectrum of creative business alternatives were evident at the Expo.

March will end with a bang with two events to mark the year after the first meeting of The Women’s Association for Sustainable Development (WASD). The first event will be on the 29th March, 2016 called the LOVE REVOLUTION this will be held at Pegasus Hotel.

“I am excited to be part of the LOVE REVOLUTION which restores hope, release creativity and empowers a nation” Linda Wallace. This is the LOVE REVOLUTION, colouring our world in warm tones of sunrise yellow, sunset orange, terracotta soil and rain forest green.

The colour of love radiates from a very centred space and an omnipresent time!

Grounded in the essence of the universe as all-providing, this natural vibe is transcendent, permeating all bigotry, bias, and barrier. Its ethos is rooted in liberation and liberty and its range of emancipating elements define our textured and triumphant existence. Earth and Nature enliven its soul, in their ever-evolving hues, making us earthy, natural and above all, loving!

What the world needs now is love sweet love
