GUYANA Telephone and Telegraph (GT&T) Company will not be putting out a float parade this year for Guyana’s 50th Independence celebrations, but instead they will be on the road at their Lot 55 Brickdam retail store with cocktail bars and both local and overseas artistes, to mingle with revellers on May 26.GT&T Public Relations Officer, Allison Parker said that they have partnered with Banks DIH for the cocktail bars and the artistes, who are expected to perform on the evening of the May 26, GT&T Independence Night Concert at Guyana National Stadium, Providence, East Bank Demerara.
According to Parker, tickets cost $2,000 but could be considered free, since when customers buy a ticket they get back $2,000 GT&T credit or a one-month data plan.
She explained that there is a code at the back of every ticket – so to access the free credit or data the customer can simply dial *100#, select concert promo (7), choose free credit or data plan and enter the code at the back of the ticket.
