Hits and Jams Entertainment is kicking off this year’s Jamzone string of activities with the local pageant, Miss Guyana Jamzone 2013, only this time around, the public will have the opportunity to express who they would like to see represent our country by simply texting.
Prospective delegates are currently being invited to apply to be apart of the pageant which will first see candidates going through a pre-screening process before the official screening. During this screening, the delegates who would have been shortlisted will prove to our committee why they would make an ideal Miss Guyana Jamzone during a battle in the swimwear, evening gown and talent segments.
The show will be recorded and broadcasted for the viewers to make their choice. This broadcast is scheduled to start airing on May 26, 2013.
This year’s pageant promises to be one with a difference during which our delegates will undergo intense training to develop their talent and improve their performance so that the winner is ready for a competitive pageant experience come August when delegates from across the Caribbean and other territories will travel to Guyana to participate in this ever-
expanding pageant.
Hits and Jams Entertainment is looking for intelligent, bold, young, beautiful women with a keen interest and knowledge in tourism, the sector in which Jamzone is generally focused on. We believe that Jamzone has definitely benefited this sector over the years and in recognition of this, our local ambassador must be educated in this area.

Please take into consideration that in order to be a Miss Guyana Jamzone 2013 delegate, you must be female at birth; never have been married or have had children; of Guyanese nationality; between the ages of 18 & 27 at the time of the Miss Jamzone International Pageant (August 2013); and prepared to partake in the Miss Jamzone International Pageant if crowned Miss Guyana Jamzone.
