The second preliminary round of the ‘Mackeson Real Vibes’ competition will see another five disc jockeys fighting to remain in the most talked about DJ competition.
Come Saturday, May 18, fans can come out to Dexter’s Bar to support their favourite DJ and help him get to the next round. Action at the Laing Avenue, Cemetery Road, West Ruimveldt location is expected to begin at 19:00h.
Showcasing their talent this week are Von Outar, Jermain Solmon, Ivelaw Campbell, Quinn Proctor and Delon Griffith.
Among the judges are veteran DJ Bevaughn Moore, DJ Casual and ANSA McAL Brand Manager Anjeta Hinds who will be looking for the contestant’s creativity based on the amount of genres of music played within the time allowed, how well the Mackeson brand is promoted throughout the performance as well as the crowd response.
‘Mackeson Real Vybez’ is the ultimate DJ competition which aims to expose fresh, raw talent in the entertainment arena and supports the continued development of the relationship between the product; the entertainer and the service; the party experience.
The quarter-finals, semi-finals and finals are scheduled for June while the Grand Finale will be hosted on July 1 at the National Park. Eliminations throughout the competition will be decided both by the judges and the voting public, who will do so via text messaging
