With October comes National Breast Cancer Awareness Month and Hits and Jams Entertainment is pleased to join in this fight and assist in making persons more alert about this deadly disease.

Breast cancer is one of the most common forms of cancer among Guyanese women being only second to cervical cancer. This form of cancer can affect women of all races and can occur at any age, even as young as 16 years old.

Hits and Jams Entertainment, under the Keem Foundation umbrella, would like to join this fight and is inviting the public to join as well when they lead a walk against breast cancer on Sunday, October 27.

Also, the organization will soon release its very own breast cancer awareness infomercial which features it’s most popular radio and television personalities. Included in this brief infomercial are radio hosts Feliz Robertson, Lisa Punch and Macaela Fernandes as well as TV Personality Christine Gooding. Also, Miss Guyana Jamzone 2013, Alicia Bess, makes an appearance in the infomercial.

Hits and Jams Entertainment is asking Guyana to pledge pink with the Keem Foundation to raise awareness.
