Tessanne moves to live rounds

Jamaican singer Tessanne Chin moved on to the live rounds of the NBC-televised talent show The Voice when she beat her Adam Levine-coached team-mate Ashley Dubose in the competition’s knockout round Monday night.

Chin chose Kelly Clarkson’s Stronger and delivered another of her signature powerhouse performances to triumph over Dubose who had selected Hey, Soul Sister by Train.

Adam admitted. Tessanne Chin killed it with ”Stronger (What Doesn’t Kill You)” by Kelly Clarkson, even after a bit of a rough rehearsal. Adam said, “If this is her on a bad day, we’re in good shape.” Christina was blown away by Tessanne, and said she made singing Kelly’s traditionally difficult song sound easy. Adam chose Tessanne, as he thought she was the strongest vocalist at this point in the competition, so unfortunately, Ashley’s headed home. I’m honestly was shocked that no one stole her.
