Bolt supports Tessanne on The Voice

Tessanne Chin took on the powerful ‘If I were your woman’ by the legendary Gladys Knight on Monday night’s top 10 live performance on NBC’s The Voice.

Chin, dressed in all black, delivered a strong, soulful version of the classic and received a standing ovation from the audience including her father, sister Tami and the world’s fastest man, Usain Bolt.

Usain Bolt just stopped by The Voice to support his fellow Jamaican powerhouse Tessanne Chin. Bolt who is doing the promotional rounds for his new book and for Puma, stepped on the stage to loud cheers from from the audience.

When host Carson Daly asked him how is the feedback at home in Jamaica, Bolt said “it’s been crazy everybody is watching and rooting for her you know.”

“This has solidified your place on the show as a major, major contender,” commented her Voice coach, Adam Levine.

Christina Aguilera in complimenting Chin on the stellar performance told her that she wants to hear more of her Jamaican accent, as well as she would love to hear different elements of her.

Two contestants, no matter from what team, will be eliminated tonight. Voting opens at the end of Monday night’s show.
