For Monday night’s semi-final performance on NBC’s ‘The Voice’ competition, Jamaican songstress Tessanne Chin passionately delivered ‘Bridge over troubled water’, to close the show.
“I’m ready to give it my all and treat this song like it’s my last song. That’s how much this song means to me,” Chin said before her performance.
After Chin’s final note, the judges had to wait for the audience to quiet down as cheers and applause rocked the auditorium.
“I’ve never been speechless on the show before, I am just so blown away. Regardless of public opinion, I think that was the most flawless performance I’ve ever seen,” Adam Levine said.
Blake Shelton commented on what a great singer Chin is, stating her performance was “simply beautiful”.
Voting opens at the end of Monday night’s show. Only three contestants will move on to the final.
The top three will be announced on Tuesday December 10, during the live results show.
