Shaggy Presents 70 Million Dollar Check

Shaggy wrapped up 2013 with a hectic schedule touring Europe, US and Western Canada. Due to the demand and number of sold out shows, Shaggy is set to hit the road again in the next few weeks.

Prior to heading on his 2014 tour, Shaggy presented a check of $70 million JMD, to D. Lambert Innis, head of anesthesia and intensive care at Bustamante Hospital for Children, yesterday. The funds represent the proceeds from Shaggy and Friends show held on January 4.

The Out of Many One Music (OOMOM) tour, has been one of the most successful reggae tours for 2013. OOMOM tour was not only successful but very entertaining, Shaggy is know for his many classics ‘It wasn’t Me’, ‘Mr. Boombastic’, ‘Angel’ just to name a few, but the crowd loved the energy, charisma, surprise guest artists and the interactive style performances, which Shaggy is so well known for.

“Its not very often you can attend a concert dance, sing, and feel like you are apart of the show nowadays, and Shaggy always does that, I saw him a few times in New York last year and I am ready to see him again in Brooklyn on Tuesday, February 25” says Maria Sanchez of Harlem.

Shaggy is currently preparing to release a few new singles from numerous artists produced on his label Ranch Entertainment. The anticipation surrounding Ranch Entertainment releases are always peak. Last year Ranch Entertainment produced the #1 Reggae Tune for 2013 according to Large Up, which was Shaggy and Beres Hammond combination ‘Fight this Feeling’. The single had all ages and demographics dancing and singing “the way you make me feel”.
