Fresh from headlining a Valentine’s Day concert in Belize last month, reggae ambassador Duane Stephenson arrived in Guyana this week where he is slated to perform tonight at the Buxton Community Centre.
The show, organised by Vizions Sound Entertainment, is part of a post-football showcase for Jamaican football club, Boys’ Town, who will clash with Guyana’s leading club champions, Alpha United, in what is expected to be a highly contested match.
Stephenson, whose Rasta For I single is included in the top-five positions of the New York and South Florida Top 25 Reggae Singles charts, is also gearing up to shoot a video for his second official single from his new album, Dangerously Roots. The album is said to feature collaborations with singer Tarrus Riley and I-Octane, and represents Stephenson third studio album behind the highly successful August Town and Black Gold projects.
