The Guyana National Stadium will come alive when two of the most loved artists out of Jamaica share the stage for the annual Easter Fest!
Grammy Winner Sean Paul and crowned prince of Reggae Jah Cure, come together to create a night to remember with the combination of Reggae and Dancehall music this Easter Sunday.
Sean Paul Ryan Francis Heriques, otherwise known as Sean Paul or Dutty Paul, is widely accepted as a crossover artiste, majoring in the musical styles of reggae and dancehall which he frequently clashes and even switches it up during his live performances. The artist recently released his sixth studio album ‘Full Frequency’.
Meanwhile, Jah Cure or Iyah Cure, born Siccature Alcock, is no stranger to Guyanese having performed several times on these shores with the most recent being Easter weekend 2013 both in Bartica and Buxton. He is popularly recognized for his soulful tracks such as ‘Unconditional Love’, ‘Never Find’, ‘Call On Me’, ‘Longing For’ and ‘True Reflections’ among many others.
Jah Cure has proven time after time that he is indeed a master of reggae-love art and continues to mesmerize us with his unique voice and lyrical ability. Jah Cure too released his sixth studio album, ‘World Cry’, digitally in December 2012 and physically In January 2013.
The headliners will be supported by Chutney Singer K.I. and the JMC 3Veni Band from Trinidad. This group, which is popularly known for ‘Friends for the Night’ and ‘Single Forever’, along with local entertainers, will be opening for the main acts.
