REGGAE Love Songs, a collection of tracks by imprisoned dj Vybz Kartel, was released on Tuesday.
The 15-song album is available digitally and on compact disc. It is distributed by Tad’s Record.
The set includes new tracks such as “You Want Me”, “Miami Vice Episode”, “My Love, My Love”, “Guest House” and “Addi Truth”.
There are also collaborations with Keshan on “Don’t Call This A Love Song” and “PG13” on “Love Mummy”. Reggae Love Songs is the latest Kartel compilation from Tad’s. Last September, the company released the 60-track Kartel Forever: Trilogy. Prior to that, the label distributed the Pon Di Gaza 2.0 and Pon Di Gaza Mi Sey albums.
The 38-year-old Kartel (real name Adidja Palmer) and three co-accused were given lengthy prison sentences in April for the August 2011 murder of Clive ‘Lizard’ Williams.
Kartel will serve 35 years with hard labour before he is eligible for parole.
