THE Guyana Telephone and Telegraph Company Limited (GT&T) is encouraging its new and old customers to visit its booths and those of its affiliates during GuyExpo for information on several carefully crafted giveaways for all the services it would be offering at the four-day event.
The company has said it would be giving gifts to customers who sign up for services such as MMG, MyAccount, DSL and Wireless Internet services, among other services.
For the MMG promotion, gifts would be given to persons who use the shop-and-go service to make purchases. They would be required to show their receipts by way of text messages or as issued by the retailers before they can receive any of the giveaways for that promotion.
Additionally, the company would be setting up a GT&T Wifi Village at GuyExpo and offering special deals and gifts for DSL services, Nano and micro Sims, and MMG signups. There would also be promotional credit given to persons who purchase GT&T sim cards at the Gizmos and Gadgets, Cell Phone Shack and Golyn and Sons cell phone booths.
The phone company is also giving free data and promotional credit to persons who purchase Nano or microsim, according to its public relations department.
GT&T has announced that persons can have its DSL packages at reduced costs. The DSL Lite will be sold for $9,500 with a standard modem and one month’s data. The Standard DSL will be sold for $14,500 along with a standard modem and one month’s data; while the wireless pack would be sold for $20,000 along with a wireless modem and one month’s data of 1MB.
Persons are also encouraged to sign up for the GT&T MyAccount feature, which entails ebilling for which they would also receive prizes. The GT&T booth will be having a happy hour each day of GuyExpo.
