Jumo Primo sang “Nosey People” and “Bad Mind People” and he wants to tell you that “They Like Talk” will be released today on all major radio stations across the country.
The song was written and performed by X2 singer Jumo “Rubber Waist” Promo and was produced by Kes. It was recorded in the Kross Kolor Studios and mixed and mastered by Burchmore Simon himself.
The song is all about people seeing another person’s success and without knowing the truth, they spread vicious rumours. Jumo has stated that the song was one that will make listeners jump out of their seats and boogie down.
The song, he noted, is a groovy Soca track and based on the reviews that have been pouring in, it will definitely create a storm on the airwaves. He added that almost everyone can relate to the song and how lives were changed due to negative rumours.
Meanwhile, with the February Carib Soca Monarch Competition on the horizon, the two-time winner said he hopes to regain his title. Promo, who has always been a people’s artiste, continues to release songs that are played across Guyana.
