Radio disc jockey, Curtis ‘Casual’ Armstrong, well known for changing the radio landscape with his refreshing voice and pointed interactions with guests, has joined HJ 94.1 Radio. Casual will host the Afternoon Lockdown, a daily afternoon show previously hosted by Kerwin Bollers with selecting by Entertainer Dwight Ferguson and the remix chick.
Casual has brought to HJ 94.1 his DJ Negus ‘Seen Up’ McFarlane, known as a front running selector with Slingerz Entertainment.
Joining Casual each afternoon on HJ 94 Radio is the lone fixture of the show, Macaela ‘The Remix Chick’ Cameron, who has fascinated audiences with her unique voice, infectious laughter and to the point articulation on topical issues.
Curtis Casual Armstrong, who appeared on 94.1 airwaves, for the first time on Friday March 20th, said ‘It was a privilege to bring The Afternoon Lockdown with Casual and The Remix Chick to listeners in Guyana. He also said that it was a long time in the making and sometimes doubted whether it would happen, but he was beyond happy to join HJ 94.1 Radio!’
The daily afternoon show will be packed with various segments, interviews, the daily scoop and most importantly they will spin today’s very best cross section of music, plus all of our favorite classics from the 80s, 90s and 00s.
The Directors of the Company as well as Mr. Armstrong’s peers are very happy to welcome him to the Boom Family.
The Afternoon Lockdown is on air weekdays from 4pm to 6pm.
