George Anthony Abrams commonly called “Chiney Man” of the mining town of Linden upon placing second in the Carib Soca Monarch earlier in the year promised that he will take Guyana by storm and so said so done.
The ‘wine attack’ singer will soon be releasing two new singles that will definitely have people moving their waist. ‘Chapping Grass’ and ‘Nah no dangle’ were written by the 20-year-old and were recorded in the Venom Recording Studio.
The overjoyed youngster who recently attained his Diploma in Computer Science from the Linden Technical Institute is all hyped about the two releases and thinks that Guyana will relate to them.
He explained that ‘Chapping Grass’ is his version of Skinny Fabulous’ ‘6:30’. He said that often people would go to parties and see the ladies performing the 6:30 dance and that the position is a way of weeding hence the thought about the words and the lyrics and came up with the final produce.
‘Nah No Dangle’, he stated is a decent version of ‘Dangles Everywhere’. He said that his song is encouraging ladies not to behave in the manner portrayed in the song ‘Dangles Everywhere’ but rather to carry themselves with dignity and pride. This song, he noted, is one of his best so far.
His two songs, “Be Yourself” and “Wine Attack” have been receiving good reviews and Abrams hopes that with the two new songs, Lindeners will be proud.
Abrams has his eyes set on recording “a power soca tune” in Trinidad and Tobago along with a “reggae soca” hit. He will also be focusing on his competition song for the 2013 Carib Soca Monarch.
The videos for “Nah no dangle” and “Chapping grass” will be produced before the end of 2012.
