“Jail Time is Waste Time” concert featuring Jamaican dancehall artiste Popcaan along with a host of local artistes is on stream and ready for tomorrow at the National Stadium Providence.
The event which is promoted by 007 Promotions, The Creator Family and Trinity Promotion, are moving apace with preparations for the event that is expected to be grand. Security at the event will be strict and patrons will not be allowed into the venue with any form of firearm.
Apart from the Jamaican artiste, Guyana’s own Timeka Marshall, Kwasi “Ace” Edmondson, Jumo Primo, Calvin Burnette, Brandon Harding, Lil Million, Shelly G, Solutions, Flava, Remar and Jory Hector will take to the stage. Known for their energetic performances, they are bound to put you in the mood for a fantastic evening.
Also adding some vibes to the night will be Mr Wickedee, Gully Ras, Magnum, Selector Face and Deejay Puffy.
The “Jail Time is Waste Time” concert is sponsored by the Ministries of Education, Public Security, and Social Protection; Palm Court; Corona Extra; E-Networks; and National Hardware.
Part of the concert’s proceeds will go to the rebuilding of the Tiger Bay Community Centre and the commencement of the Hope Project’s Mechanical Engineering Programme for inner city youths. VIP tickets for the event are available while general admission will be $2000.
