Guyana Fitness Games have once again partnered with E-Networks to bring you the second annual E-Networks Cross Fitness Challenge. Plans are in full gear to stage this epic competition on the tarmac of the National Park on Sunday, March 13, 2016.
E-Networks is proud to partner with Guyana Fitness Games as title sponsor. Last year’s event was so packed with nail biting excitement that most of the spectators came out of the stands to get as close to the athletes as the barricades would let them. Equipped with E-Networks umbrellas to battle the rays of the sun, the spectators were screaming at the top of their lungs in support of their favourite athletes and teams. The kind of excitement and hype that comes with that kind of event can only be described as an unforgettable experience.
The competition is open to athletes and fitness enthusiasts nationwide and will test their fitness level and endurance. There will be four events that combine several different exercises. Contestants will be divided into teams of 3 males and 1 female where a panel of judges will judge them based on their execution and speed. Ending scores will determine the E-Networks Cross Fitness Challenge fittest team and fittest individuals in the Male and Female categories.
Registration is ongoing. If you would like to participate in the E-Networks Cross Fitness Challenge, head to Fitness Express on f Street and register today. Registration ends on February 5, 2016.
Cross-Fit is a training program that builds strength and conditioning through extremely varied and challenging workouts. Each workout will test a different part of your functional strength or conditioning, not specializing in one particular thing, but rather with the goal of building a body that’s capable of practically anything and everything. Cross-Fit is extremely different from a commercial gym workout.
Event coordinator Jordana Ramsay–Gonsalves along with Noshavyah King, well known Zumba Fitness instructor and certified personal trainer and Jamie McDonald, owner of Fitness Express, one of the fastest growing fitness retail establishments in Guyana have teamed up and formed Guyana Fitness Games the hosts of the E-Networks Cross Fitness Challenge 2016.
Come out and support Guyana’s very own athletes on Sunday, March 13th at 10 AM on the Tarmac at the National Park and let’s see who has what it takes to be called the Fittest Athlete in Guyana. The entrance fee is $1000 and children are free.
Cooperate Sponsorship for various aspects of the event is available. If you are interested in becoming a sponsor of the second annual Cross Fitness Challenge, contact 672-9402.
