Previous pageant experience: The majority of pageants I have competed in have followed the basic pageant format with the main four segments; intelligence, swimsuit, evening gown and final answer. Some were better organised than others but they all taught me valuable lessons and helped me develop a different area of my life. The pageants I have competed in are as follows: Miss Earth Guyana 2010 – Queen Miss Earth 2010 – No placement Miss World Guyana 2011 – 1st runner up Miss Princess of the World 2011 – top 9 Miss United Nations 2012 – Queen Miss Jamzone Guyana 2014 – Queen Miss Jamzone International 2014 – Queen Miss Universe Guyana 2014 – 1st runner up Miss Grand International 2015 – No placement
What countries have you travelled to? Suriname, Barbados, United States of America, Trinidad and Tobago, Vietnam, Czech Republic, United Kingdom and Thailand.
What primary message or concern would you advocate as Miss Universe Guyana 2016?
“My primary concern as Miss Universe Guyana 2016 would be the “Plight of the Elderly” as they have given the best years of their lives to the development of the family unit, community and the country, yet this group of special persons in their latter years are often times left to fend for themselves and are treated in some cases as non-existent”.
Why should you be Miss Universe Guyana 2016?
“I believe I should be Miss Universe Guyana 2016 as I have been competing in pageants for the last five years and during this time I have not only done local pageants but have represented Guyana in several international pageants throughout the world from which I have gained a wealth of experience. I intend on using this experience to help secure recognition for Guyana at the upcoming Miss Universe pageant”.
