Night of Divas November 17

Arrangements are in place for the largest cast of Caribbean women to perform on a Guyana stage and the tickets are out at Ashmins and the ‘This is it Mini Mall’ on Rob street opposite the Red dragon.

The divas will all arrive today from Trinidad and Jamaica and they are hyped and ready to perform for Guyana on Saturday night where they will be speaking out against Domestic violence in all its forms.  Hence the promoter is encouraging patrons to ensure that they secure their tickets as the cost would be more for the general audience admission at the gate.

The lineup in case you have forgotten for dance hall and conscious vibes out of Jamaica includes Dance hall queen Lady Saw, Tanya Stephens, Spice, Pamputtee and Gaza Slim. Soca Lovers are assured that Soca sensation Destra and band will be on stage as well as Denise ‘saucy wow’ Belfont.

Show’s Public Relations Manager Mondale Smith is assuring that “all is set and we are ready to offer Guyana a real all ladies on stage experience but men are expected to come out with their woman or alone and support this event too as it is about celebrating life.”

Tickets are going at a cost of $2000 for regular and $10,000 for VIP advance. The general admission price may increase on show night.

“Women are the bedrock on which the world is formed… they are mothers, sisters, aunts, cousins, professionals, home makers, economists, managers etc and yet some are all of these, we have watched others be beaten, abused, disrespected and as conscious vibes promoters we are taking a stand to show that men are not all negative towards women, and that though they have many sides to women we must love them, flaws an all” reiterated Public Relations Manager Mondale Smith.

“This event is not aimed at disrespecting nor bashing anyone so men  be assured that you can come out and be part of this affair as it is more of a celebration of women in their various forms to live their lives being the best that they can be while empowering all against Domestic Violence.”

The Night of the Divas Show is sponsored by West Indies Spring water produced by Caricom  Investments, Princess International Hotel, the new ‘This is it Mini Mall, Caribbean Cargo, Banks Premium Beer, Da Reel Music Box, The-news In Conversation with Mondale Smith, HJ tv, Go fashion boutique, Steeping in style Boutique.
