Come Saturday evening, the lawns of the Red House, Kingston will be transformed into a theatre where a fusion of dance and fashion will shine.
The event, “Break De Runway” was put together by local designer Ryan Berkley and the Let’s Dance School. It will feature edgy and formal designs by Berkley, a Mission Catwalk participant, and a collection for teens by Jamana De Fretias. “Break De Runway” will take the form of a theatrical presentation that showcases fashion with dance pieces from members of the Let’s Dance School strategically interspersed.
The show provides an opportunity for young people to showcase their talent in dance and fashion. Patrons will be pleased with the high quality of designs and dances that will be featured.
Preparations for the show are moving apace after many obstacles. Tickets cost $2000 and are available at the Let’s Dance School and from cast members.
